Physiotherapy services
Assessment and treatment of musculoskeletal, neurological and functional concerns using hands-on therapy, exercise prescription and an individualized rehabilitation plan.

Rehabilitation
ACL and meniscus injury rehabilitation
Rehabilitation for knee injuries involving the ACL or meniscus, with care tailored to your movement, strength and activity goals. Your physiotherapist can guide your progress toward everyday activities and, when appropriate, a gradual return to sport.
Joint replacement rehabilitation
Physiotherapy after joint replacement can help you rebuild strength, mobility and confidence with daily movement. Your plan is adjusted to your procedure, progress and goals.
Post-operative rehabilitation
Recovering from surgery can take time. Physiotherapy helps you work on movement, strength and function in a gradual, individualized way, guided by your procedure and your care team’s recommendations.
Treatment approaches
Kinesio taping
Flexible tape may be used during movement as one part of your physiotherapy plan. Your physiotherapist can explain its purpose and whether it may suit your needs.
Manual therapy
Hands-on techniques for joints and soft tissues may be included in your care to address stiffness and support movement, alongside exercise and other strategies.
Instrument-assisted soft tissue mobilization (IASTM)
This approach uses a handheld tool to work over selected soft tissues. Your physiotherapist can discuss whether it fits your assessment and overall treatment plan.
Shockwave therapy
Shockwave therapy applies acoustic pressure waves to a targeted area. Your physiotherapist can explain what the treatment involves and whether it may be appropriate for your condition.
Dry needling (IMS)
Dry needling, also known as intramuscular stimulation (IMS), involves inserting fine needles into selected muscles. Your physiotherapist will review the approach with you and determine whether it is suitable for your care.
Injury and activity support
Motor vehicle accident physiotherapy (ICBC)
If you’ve been injured in a motor vehicle accident, physiotherapy can help address movement difficulties and support your recovery goals. ICBC coverage and billing depend on your situation and the provider’s participation in the ICBC Recovery Network, so contact the clinic to discuss next steps.
Sports medicine physiotherapy
Physiotherapy for sport-related injuries and movement concerns, with a plan shaped around your sport, current abilities and return-to-activity goals.
Work injuries (WorkSafeBC)
Physiotherapy can support recovery after a workplace injury and help you work toward the activities your job requires. WorkSafeBC coverage depends on provider arrangements and claim details; your physiotherapist can discuss the process with you.
